Foundation pieces are built across different garments and fits. Use this guide to understand how we measure, then check the specific product for the most accurate sizing.
EVERY PIECE CAN FIT DIFFERENTLY.
Foundation garments use different Tapstitch styles and blanks. Measurements can vary depending on the garment, fabric and fit. Always check the sizing information for the specific piece you're purchasing.
MEASURE A PIECE
YOU ALREADY LOVE.
Lay a T-shirt or hoodie that already fits you well on a flat surface and compare its measurements with the garment you're considering.
CHEST
Measure straight across the garment below the armholes, from one side to the other.
LENGTH
Measure from the highest point near the shoulder or collar down to the bottom hem.
SHOULDER
Measure straight across from one shoulder seam to the other.
SLEEVE
Measure from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve.
OVERSIZED MEANS INTENTIONAL.
CHECK THE PRODUCT
Look for whether the garment is described as oversized, loose, boxy or regular before choosing your size.
CHOOSE YOUR SILHOUETTE
Think about whether you prefer a roomier streetwear fit or something closer to the body before selecting your size.
COMPARE MEASUREMENTS
Don't rely on the letter size alone. Compare the garment's measurements with something you already own and like.
